The Extraordinary Is movement is a social campaign created by the Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, established in 2013, in Arlington, Texas.
The Foundation was created to advance the legacy of Otis and Rosie Brown who instilled in their three children a recognition that all things are possible through love and stewardship and a belief that all have the duty to extend a hand to help lift up our fellow man.
The Foundation was inspired by the Brown family’s personal conviction that extraordinary things can be done with ordinary resources.
Our mission is to highlight extraordinary people, organizations and corporations who utilize ordinary resources to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities.
Our vision is to connect families to resources in the local North Texas community, foster academic engagement and excellence, and partner with local organizations to more effectively meet the needs of today’s vulnerable children and families.
