ORBF Board of Directors Announces New Executive Director
The Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation Board of Directors (ORBF) is proud to welcome Shannon Flowers as our fourth Executive Director. Shannon officially succeeded Gara Hill on February 1, 2020.
Gara, who has now joined the ORBF Board of Directors, had this to say:
We are so excited about Shannon taking the reins as our Executive Director. She’s been an integral part of this organization since day one, and she knows the heart and soul of what makes this organization so special. Having seen how well Shannon has served her community in other aspects around Arlington, we are honored to have her in this role and can’t wait to see all that we can accomplish together. Already, she has been such a dynamic addition and will be an integral part of taking the Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation to the next level.
Shannon has been responsible for the establishment, development, and continued success of our foundation over the past five years. She was instrumental in growing our foundation’s presence in Arlington, Texas. If you have attended any of our signature events, you have been dazzled by Shannon’s work as our event coordinator. Shannon leads with her heart. She is dedicated, kind, supportive, and driven to make a positive difference. ORBF and our DFW community are fortunate to have Shannon serving in this new leadership role.
The Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation looks forward to a bright future ahead. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Shannon Flowers!
Best wishes to you and your loved ones,
Erin Nicole Parisi
